USU And Water Savings

In 1998 USU's culinary water consumption reached its maximum.  Since that time USU has been able to cut its water consumption almost in half!  During the 2006-2007 water year, USU used 449,052,000 gallons which is 49% less than what it used in 1998.  USU's main campus per capita water consumption is 138 gallons/person/day.  Below is a table that lists USU's culinary water consumption for each month during the 2006-2007 water year compared to what the average consumption has been for those months since 1994.  Even though campus is growing, USU is able to significantly reduce the amount of water being used around campus and save millions of gallons of water.
